A low-needs care nursing home is a privately-funded communal home that provides accommodation and care for elderly and disabled people with low-level support needs. Gracevale Lodge offers high quality affordable permanent and short-term residential care and support for people in their 20's onwards with low-level physical, mobility or intellectual disabilities or mental health disorders and those who are aged or frail and can no longer live at home, and seek high quality care, support and companionship so they can continue to enjoy their interests and independence while living among friends in a secure, comfortable and nurturing communal home. Our trained staff are experienced in providing 24-hour personalised care and support for our residents including secure medicine management, help with daily personal hygiene and grooming routines and mobility assistance. We also provide nutritious well-balanced meals, full laundry services and a wide variety of programs and activities such as regular low impact exercise programs, music therapy, art and craft opportunities and regular visiting entertainment to help our residents maintain their physical, social and mental health and wellbeing and their independence and community connections. As a low-needs care nursing home, Gracevale Lodge charges a fortnightly all-inclusive nursing home fee which covers accommodation, meals, laundry, servicing of rooms, use of communal facilities, all specialised care and support services, and all social programs and activities provided at Gracevale Lodge. We don't require any upfront fees or accommodation bond, and the resident fee doesn't depend on any income or asset calculation or ACAS assessment so we can accept residents, on approved application, as soon as suitable accommodation becomes available. All residents are eligible for government rental assistance.

We offer single, twin share and double-sized bedrooms, with a range of bathroom options to suit all preferences and budgets. Each bedroom has a bed, armchair, bedroom furniture, built in wardrobe and shelving. Our recreational and communal living areas include a large indoor lounge, TV, library and quiet sitting areas, a spacious dining area and beautiful landscaped gardens with plenty of outdoor seating. We also have dedicated resident gardens and vegetable garden boxes for our residents enjoyment. Gracevale Lodge is also an easy stroll or bus trip to the Warragul town centre with shops, cafés, galleries, markets, churches and parks.

At Gracevale Lodge, the safety and security of our residents is paramount. Our residents receive 24-hour personalised care, support and supervision, with a nurse call bell in every bedroom and bathroom and in each of the communal and recreational areas. Our staff keep a close eye on the physical, social and mental health and wellbeing of each of our residents to ensure they are always safe, healthy and happy at Gracevale Lodge.

Yes absolutely! We have special double-sized rooms to accommodate couples. As we need to look after the health, safety and comfort of all of our residents, we don't permit cats or dogs as pets at Gracevale Lodge. If you have a very small pet that can be kept in an aquarium or cage in your bedroom, we may be able to accommodate your pet at Gracevale Lodge.

Visitors and family are always welcome at Gracevale Lodge between 8am to 8pm each day. There are plenty of quiet indoor and outdoor sitting areas where our residents can enjoy time with their guests. Our residents' guests are also always welcome to join us for a meal.
