If your parents or loved ones are over 65 and can no longer live on their own, Gracevale Lodge provides specialised care for elderly and frail residents, so they can continue to enjoy their interests and independence while living among friends and enjoying quality meals and activities in a comfortable communal home.
Set near the centre of picturesque Warragul, Gracevale Lodge is privately owned and operated — we receive no government subsidy — and offer affordable, personalised 24-hour care in a friendly, safe and homely setting. As a single-level residence with spacious rooms and wide corridors, we comfortably accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices, with single, twin-share and deluxe double rooms and a choice of ensuite, shared and communal bathrooms.

What elderly care services are available at Gracevale Lodge?
We offer affordable permanent and short-term residential care for elderly and frail residents. Our trained staff provide 24-hour personalised support — secure medicine management, help with daily personal hygiene and grooming, mobility assistance, nutritious meals and full laundry — alongside a wide variety of programs and activities such as low-impact exercise, music therapy, art and craft and visiting entertainment, so residents can stay healthy, social and independent and make the most of their senior years.
What fees are involved?
Residents pay a single all-inclusive fee each fortnight, covering accommodation, meals, laundry, room servicing, use of communal facilities, all care and support services, and all social programs and activities. There are no upfront fees or accommodation bond, and the fee doesn’t depend on any income or asset calculation or ACAS assessment. All residents are eligible for government rental assistance.
Who is eligible for seniors care?
Our seniors care is for residents over 65 who can no longer live alone, or who find cooking and housekeeping a burden, and would value companionship and support in a secure, comfortable community. What if I only need care for a short time?
We offer short-term respite and convalescence care as well as permanent places. Our programs are inclusive and built around each resident’s needs and interests, so even short-stay residents feel genuinely welcome and part of our community.
